About the event
Get your bravest team together, or go it alone if you dare, and meet up with other challengers to take on the historic haunts of London.
With full and half marathon distances available, there's a challenge here for everyone. With a start and finish at the Oval Dungeon, come dressed to distress to take part in this hair-raising hike around London.
There are ghostly looped routes combined with zombie rest stops. And if you manage to get back in one piece, there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz – and a souvenir bobble hat to ward off the spirits as you head off.
This event is strictly walking only, so no jogging or running is allowed.
How you can sign up and fundraise
There are 3 options for signing up and fundraising.
Charity sponsorship
You pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising, and we cover the cost of your event place.
The registration fee is £7.50 and you'll have to fundraise at least £250.
Mixed funding
Pay half of the event place cost yourself, do some fundraising, and we pay the other half of the event place cost.
The registration fee for this option is £25, and you'll have to fundraise at least £135.
Self fund
Or, you can pay the full cost of the event place yourself, and there's no minimum fundraising target.
For this option, you'd pay £79 to register (or £59 if you're 12-17).
What to expect from the event
You'll get full support from the event organisers, Action Challenge.
You can sign up as an individual or a team. You'll start at the dungeon, near the Oval Cricket Ground in London. And there'll be a rest point halfway through. The whole route is signposted with clearly marked arrows.
You'll also get:
- Free neck buff and bobble hat
- Midpoint rest stop
- Free snacks and drinks
- Medal, t-shirt, glass of fizz
