About the London Summer Walk

Starting alongside the Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks, this 25k looped route heads through Charlton, along the Thames Path and around the Greenwich Peninsula.

You'll go past the O2, the Old Royal Naval College and the Cutty Sark. Then it’s through the Greenwich foot tunnel and into Docklands – past the Thames Barrier Park and back to Woolwich via another foot tunnel.

A route steeped in history with iconic sights, and capped with a BBQ and bar at the finish – this will make for a wonderful end of summer celebration.

All levels of experience are welcome. Join as an individual, team or as a family.

This event is walking only. No jogging or running is allowed.

How much does it cost to sign up to the London Summer Walk?

There are 3 ways to sign up for the London Summer Walk.

Option 1 - fundraise for Mind, and we'll cover the cost of your place

If you sign up and fundraise for Mind, you pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising, and we cover the cost of your event place.

  • Your registration fee will be £10
  • You'll fundraise at least £249

Option 2 - do some fundraising, and cover some costs yourself

Or, you can pay for half of the registration fee yourself. We'll pay for the other half, and you'll need to do a bit of fundraising.

  • Your registration fee will be £50
  • You'll fundraise at least £150

Option 3 - you cover all the costs yourself

In this option, you pay the full cost of the event place. And you can fundraise however much you'd like.

  • Your registration fee will be £89
