Looking back at the Mind Media Awards
The Mind Media Awards have been running for over 20 years celebrating the best possible representations of mental health in the media.
Here are some of the highlights from the last few years.
Mind Media Awards 2018
The Virgin Money Giving Mind Media Awards 2018 took place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, with Fearne Cotton, Frankie Bridge and Nicola Roberts among the celebrity guests.
Guests said they found the whole evening incredibly moving and inspirational but the highlight of the night was when Clarke and Carrie Carlisle won the Speaking Out Award, given to people who have made a significant impact by sharing their own experiences of mental health problems

Cold Feet, Hollyoaks, Victoria Derbyshire, Bryony Gordon and I, Daniel Blake were among the winners at the 2017 Mind Media Awards. The ceremony, hosted by Mind Ambassador Fearne Cotton was held at the ODEON Leicester Square.
Prince Harry presented the Speaking Out Award to the ten runners who featured in the BBC One documentary Mind over Marathon. It is the first time that we have awarded more than one winner, but we wanted to recognise the whole group as a symbol of their remarkable achievements.
There was also a new award this year, as we came together with 2016 winners ITV's Loose Women to launch the Lighten the Load Hero award. This award celebrates the everyday heroes who support those of us living with mental health problems and was presented to Leeanne Tomlinson who was nominated by her colleague Susan Kirlew.

Michael Buchanan was presented with the award for journalist of the year for his collection of original stories for BBC News illustrating the significant and deep-seated problems at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The blogger of the year award was presented to Rosey Adams for a deeply personal series of blogs exploring her experiences of postnatal and perinatal depression with all of her three children.
