What is With Women in Mind?
With Women in Mind is an inspiring collective of supporters helping women and young people most affected by trauma. Revolutionising support for mental health.
Our plans are just as ambitious as the incredible people who are already part of the collective. To reach 100,000 young people most affected by trauma. With you by our side, we’re confident we can make that happen. And much more.

"I’m honoured to begin raising awareness and funds for With Women in Mind, supporting young people and women deeply affected by trauma. And I would urge you to become a member today, to make a difference with us. My journey taught me that transformation truly begins when we release what holds us back and align with the energy that empowers us forward."

Why join With Women in Mind?
There's a vicious cycle between trauma and mental health.
Support that takes trauma into account has never been more urgent. And now’s the time to act, addressing the challenges young women, girls and non-binary young people face every day. With health inequalities worsening and increasing numbers of young people in crisis, trauma-informed support is scarce and urgently needed.
More than 1 in 3 young women have a probable mental health problem, compared to 1 in 8 young men.
Women are more likely to have post-traumatic stress disorder than the rest of the population. And more likely to experience high-impact trauma events such as sexual assault than men, and at a younger age.
One third of non-binary people are likely to experience sexual violence with intent to convert or punish for their gender identity.
Waiting lists are too long. Too many mental health workers don’t understand trauma. Young people have told us they don’t know where to go for help.
Your support will make the world a better place for young people:
- You’re powering a lifesaving programme for the young people most affected by trauma.
- You’re helping us be there for young people facing gendered violence and trauma.
- You’re helping us grow our understanding of trauma by working with young people who face it every day.
