With Women in Mind: official launch event

On 30 November 2023 we officially launched our With Women in Mind giving collective at the National Portrait Gallery.

We thanked all those who have supported the collective already and welcomed new members on the night.

And we united in our shared goal to raise £2.5million over the next 3 years and reach 100,000 young people who’ve experienced trauma. Revolutionising support for mental health.

All photography by Catherine Turner.

A snapshot of the night

A snapshot of the event, with some thoughts from guests and previews from some of the speeches.

First you’ll hear from Mind’s CEO, Dr Sarah Hughes, followed by With Women in Mind ambassador, Emilia Clarke; mental health advocate, Georgia Dodsworth; With Women in Mind ambassador, Lena Dunham, and founding member, Stevie Spring CBE.

Interviews with our members

We asked some of our guests and members for their thoughts on With Women in Mind. In this video you’ll hear from Hristiana Georgieva, followed by Sophie Tea, then Jacinta Spencer, then Sasha Attwood on why they support With Women in Mind.

Sophie Tea Art auction in aid of Mind

Sophie Tea Art donated an incredible artwork in aid of With Women in Mind.

She will be auctioning it off in the new year to raise funds for With Women in Mind via her website. If you’d like to receive further information on the auction and how to place a bid, please contact [email protected]

Event partners

We couldn't have put on this event on without the support of our generous partners.

With special thanks to Eon, our corporate partner who photographed the event and Elemis, who donated an incredible £11,000 worth of goody bags to help encourage memberships.

We’d also like to thank the National Portrait Gallery for donating books and further support, and every single supplier involved for donating their time and expertise free of charge or at a heavily discounted rate.
