If you’re a Mind member and have the passion and commitment it takes to join Pwyllgor Cymru (Welsh Governance Committee) – we want to hear from you.

As a governance committee member, you’ll need knowledge of, and interest in mental health. You should understand and value the principles and process of user involvement.

You also need to:

• think strategically and creatively
• communicate clearly and sensitively in large group discussions
• use independent judgement to make decisions on behalf of the organisation
• meet the criteria set out in the person specification

We value diversity and welcome interest from people with direct or indirect experience of mental health problems from all backgrounds.

Pwyllgor Cymru meetings are held in Cardiff and you’ll need to be able to commit to four to ten meetings a year. The roles are unpaid, but you can claim travel expenses for meetings.
