Terms and conditions

Before you start your fundraising for Mind, please read the following terms and conditions:

  1. Use my best endeavors to raise money for Mind, and not do anything to bring Mind into disrepute
  2. Obtain and pay to national Mind (charity number 219830) all money raised within two months of my fundraising activity
  3. In events where a registration fee is required, registration fees are nonrefundable.
  4. Participants registering for The Mind Walk, this event is subject to venue licenses.
  5. Get approval in advance from Mind of any use of Mind's "in aid of" logo for marketing and communication purpose, and will not use Mind's official logo, which is reserved for the use of the charity only.
  6. Obtain prior approval from Mind before approaching any companies, press or celebrities to support my activity
  7. Sign the relevant form for the use of collection tins if required
  8. Not carry out house-to-house collections
  9. Not collect in any public place without first obtaining a collector's license from the appropriate local authority (usually the police or the council)
  10. Not collect on private property (including shops, pubs etc) without first obtaining the permission of the owner
  11. Not hold a raffle over more than one day without obtaining a license from my local authority
  12. Not sell alcohol at any event without having the appropriate liquor license
  13. Ensure that I have a Corporate Partnership agreement with Mind if I am donating a percentage of sales on products to Mind, that will be sold over a prolonged period of time.
  14. Make sure my activity, and any third parties involved are fully insured and not take unnecessary personal risks
  15. Acknowledge that Mind cannot take responsibility for any losses made through my activity or liability arising from my activity
  16. I will only use Mind-branded fundraising materials (in print and electronic form) for fundraising that I have registered. I will not use these materials for any other activities without first letting us know.
  17. Inform Mind at the earliest possible opportunity if I have had to cancel my activity/or withdraw from a Mind organized activity due to any circumstances
  18. I understand that Mind may terminate my right to raise funds at any time
  19. I understand that Mind will withdraw their support of my fundraising activity if they do not deem it to be safe.
