Ways to pay in your fundraising
There are lots of ways to pay in your fundraising to Mind. When you pay in, you'll need your Mind number – this should be on your welcome letter.
If you don't have your Mind number, don't worry. Just use your full name, postcode and name of event, so we can make sure the money goes to the correct event.
Using a fundraising page
If you’ve got a JustGiving or Enthuse page, the donations on the page are sent to Mind regularly.
If you’re using a different online giving platform, please contact us to let us know the URL and amount raised, so we can check we’ve received your money.
If you’ve been collecting sponsorship in cash as well, you can pay the donations into your own bank account, then make a donation via your online giving page. If you choose this option and you're a UK taxpayer, make sure you un-tick the Gift Aid box. Gift Aid can only be claimed when a person is making their own donation, not on behalf of someone else or a group.
On the Mind website
To pay in on the Mind website, you need to:
- Visit mind.org.uk/donate
- Choose "single donation" and the amount you want to give
- Click "donate now"
- Choose "I am paying in money or sponsorship from a fundraiser or collection"
- You'll then have to pick the options which describe how you raised the money – if you have your Mind number, you can put this in the additional comments box
- Fill in your card details and complete the payment
By phone
Call our Supporter Relations team on 020 8215 2243. We're available from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. We'll be able to take a card payment over the phone, but please note we don't accept AMEX.
Sending cheques, postal orders and CAF vouchers
To pay in by cheque, postal order or CAF vouchers, please fill in this form.
Cheques should be made payable to Mind. If you’ve used a sponsorship form, please return this to us so that we can claim Gift Aid. You’ll need to include your full name and Mind number or postcode so we know the money is from your fundraising.

Paying in cash at NatWest
If you’ve collected cash, you can pay this into your nearest branch of NatWest, through which Mind banks.
You can email us at [email protected] to ask for a paying-in slip. You'll need to put your Mind number on the front of the paying-in slip so that we know the money is from you.
Please note that carrying readily identifiable cash in a public place could pose a possible risk to your safety. So, where possible, see if a friend or family member can accompany you to the bank. In the unlikely event you encounter any issues, give up the cash if it becomes apparent that doing so would be better for your safety and report any incidents to us and the local police as soon as possible.
Bank transfer
To pay the money via bank transfer (BACS), email [email protected], and we can give you our bank account details.
You’ll need to include your Mind number or company name as a payment reference and email us when the BACS transfer is made, so we know the money is from you.
