Kayleigh was stuck on NHS waiting lists for years and was finally diagnosed with borderline personality disorder at the age of 19.

"It makes me angry that there are so many people waiting for mental health services.

People are losing their lives because they’re not getting the help they need.”

"Mind did save my life. They made me believe that I wasn't going through this on my own."

- Kayleigh

World Mental Health Day 2024

On 10th October 2024, we’re asking people to join us.

We’re in the middle of a mental health crisis. 2 million people are currently stuck on waiting lists for NHS mental health services. Real people, being left behind by a broken mental health system. They need support now, not in 6 months’ time. Not in a year.

So this World Mental Health Day, we’re asking you to join us. At Mind and across our network of over 100 local Minds, we provide a range of services and support for people experiencing mental health problems. On our own, we can’t reach everyone.

We need your help to make sure no mind is left behind. Donate today and wear your pin badge for the 2 million people who are waiting for support.
