Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind – community CAMHS navigator
We've got an opportunity for a community navigator to join the organisation. You'll report to the Families in Mind project manager and will be responsible for supporting children and young people with the transition from statutory CAMHS services to community support.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Work as an integral part of the children, young people and families directorate to deliver services directly to members of our community
- Offer support to people within the boundaries of our services, identify any additional support and sensitively help them to access other services as needed
- Be responsible for managing a caseload of people accessing the services
- Work alongside other staff and volunteers to ensure members of our community can access the services they need
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience of offering support services to members of the public
- Experience of working independently to deliver services safely
- Experience of working with children and young people in supporting emotional wellbeing and mental health
- Experience of identifying and managing risk and safeguarding concerns
- Experience of delivering one-to-one and group-based, child-led, recovery-focused support
