Oxfordshire Mind – head of HR

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate team and play a central role in the charity. This role offers the chance for a proactive individual to confidently navigate us through the forthcoming 12 months of change and support our internal team.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, processes and services aligned with our overall strategy and vision
  • Develop the staff wellbeing strategy
  • Be a proactive member of the senior management team
  • Ensure high quality delivery of HR responsibilities
  • Be the appointed competent person to advise on health and safety across the organisation
  • Support and continue to develop the employee forum, including being a point of contact for the union

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience across most HR disciplines
  • Ability to inspire and motivate hybrid and remote team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Strong relationship-building skills at a senior level, internally and externally
  • Ability to lead change projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful implementation
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks associated with change initiatives
