Mind in West Essex – mental health support team supervisor/practitioner

Our children and young people's (CYP) mental health support teams are working with children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. This includes working with parents/caregivers of primary school age pupils and with secondary schools and colleges to develop support for the whole school community. It aims to strengthen the links between education, health services and families in Harlow, Epping Forest and Uttlesford.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team 
• Be responsible for managing and delivering clinical and case management supervision to other team member
• Hold a small caseload
• Deliver MHST interventions in schools

About you

We're looking for someone with:

• Mental health support team/educational mental health practitioner qualification or a qualification (e.g. PG Cert, PG Dip) in delivering evidence based, therapeutic interventions to children and young people
• Familiarity with CBT evidence base, both within clinical training and delivering interventions
• Direct clinical experience with children and young people aged 5-18 with mental health difficulties
• Knowledge and direct clinical experience of adapting interventions and delivering them to children and young people
