We’re looking for a finance controller to support our organisation to manage our finances strategically. You'll also support our managers to make the best use of the resources we have, to support our local communities towards better mental health. What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Ensure that Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest is prepared to take advantage of opportunities and can meet its strategic and operational objectives
• Support managers to ensure the financial resources of the organisation are managed responsibly and ensure that policies and procedures are in place to ensure consistency and accountability
• Give clear and understandable narrative to stakeholders and the rest of the team, advocating good accounting principles and helping to educate, inform and develop others within the wider team
• Support on long term financial plans and modelling, supporting our 5 year strategy
• Develop a systematic forecasting process for departments
• Use analysis to identify trends from across the departments and ensure optimal financial decision-making

• Adaptability to build effective working relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues and work in a collaborative way
