This spring we are challenging you to feel good and do good by taking on our wellbeing-inspired challenges. Spread positivity and raise money for mental health.

How to get started

Ready to feel good?

  1. Register (for free) and pick your Feel Good challenge or challenges!

  2. Set up your JustGiving page and start collecting donations. No minimum fundraising target – but to thank you we will send a Mind top after your first donation and a tote bag if you raise £50 or more!

  3. Join the fight for better mental health by fundraising for Mind. Boost your wellbeing and help spread a little positivity. Most importantly… feel good by doing good!

We're here to support you every step of the way. If you get stuck just email us and we'll help you through it.

Feel Good – challenge questions

Our challenges are inspired by the ways to wellbeing – 5 simple steps shown to help improve our mental health and wellbeing. Connect, give, get active, learn and take notice.

  • Connect: you could hold a bake sale and socialise with colleagues or members of your community.
  • Give: you could do some random acts of kindness.
  • Get active: why not try doing 14k over 14 days? You could run, walk, cycle or swim.
  • Notice: try a yoga challenge to encourage mindfulness.
  • Learn: hold a quiz night and test your friends and family!

Up for something extra? Trying adding your own challenge as well!

As many as you like! Whatever fits in with your lifestyle and will help you try something new and bring you joy.

For each challenge we have a tailored advice on how you can complete it. In the lead up and during the challenge you will receive emails from the lovely Nikki supporting you with both the fundraising and how you can do your wellbeing challenge(s).

Do Good – fundraising questions

It's free to sign up to Feel Good Fortnight. We hope you’ll then raise money for Mind as part of the challenge.

No minimum fundraising target – your JustGiving page will automatically set a £50 target, but you can choose to increase it, decrease it, or keep it as it is. We'll send a Mind top after your first donation to say thank you. As a little incentive to raise more, you'll get a tote bag if you raise £50 or more.

If this is your first time fundraising for a charity, we’ll support you to achieve your Feel Good goals. We send out weekly emails which include fundraising tips, so look out for these. If you’ve not yet received them, please check your junk folder. If you still can’t find any emails from us since signing up, let us know by contacting [email protected]

Again, you will get dedicated fundraising support from Nikki who will send you handy resources like ‘how to ask for donations’ templates and shareable graphics to tell people about what you are doing for Mind.

Each local Mind is an independent charity. They're separate from (national) Mind but all part of the big network of Mind charities. We support local Minds in many ways, including grants for projects in your neighbourhood. They do incredible work in their local communities, while Mind focuses on national support, campaigns and initiatives.

Feel Good Fortnight is a new event created by national Mind. At the moment we unfortunately can’t include local Minds, so all donations through this event will be raised for Mind.

If you’d like to fundraise for your local Mind in another way, they would love your support. You can find your local Mind using this search tool.

There are a few different options for paying in offline funds:

Pay the sum to your JustGiving page. If you choose this option and you're a UK taxpayer, make sure you untick the Gift Aid box. Gift Aid can only be claimed when a person is making their own donation, not on behalf of someone else or a group.

If you don’t have a JustGiving page pay the money via Giving Checkout. Select “one-off” donation and untick the Gift Aid box.

You can find other ways to pay in your fundraising here.

Still have questions? You can email us at [email protected]
