An annual celebration of peer support

Peerfest is our national annual event celebrating the importance, power and diversity of peer support. It's a welcoming, inclusive and inspirational event bringing peers together to network, share knowledge and best practice through workshops, creative activities, debate and The Marsh Awards.

Every year we choose a different user-led peer support project to create and host Peerfest. If you’re passionate about peer support, it can be a crucial step up to raise your profile, connect with new partners and showcase your skills at a national level. It's your time to shine.

We learned a huge amount from hosting Peerfest 2016 and it was very satisfying when the event came together so well.

We'll bring you more news on Peerfest as plans for the 2018 event develop, and you'll have opportunities to book tickets, host a stall or workshop, or volunteer with us on the day.

Event proposals are now closed for organisations looking to create and deliver the 2018 event, but we'll be announcing the successful candidates shortly and you can speak to us with any questions about Peerfest and how you can get involved.

Meet the National Planning Team

We're a lively and passionate collective that includes a diverse range of local and national organisations and individuals, all working in mental health peer support.

We meet regularly to support Peerfest through creative planning, evaluation and to consider the future of the event. We're open to all and we welcome a variety of experiences, so if you're passionate about peer support and Peerfest please join us.

The National Planning Team came together as a result of our scoping research in 2012, that captured the landscape of peer support projects and led to our Piecing Together the Jigsaw report.
