South East London Mind - senior peer support worker
SEL Mind seek a senior peer support worker to support people leaving hospital and lead peer services.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Provide and lead recovery focused per support for people transitioning from hospital to community life.
- Use your lived experience to support people to build independence, confidence and meaningful connections.
- Line manage and support peer support workers, ensuring high quality, person centred support.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has lived experience of mental health challenges and can use this safely to support others and lead a team.
- Has experience supporting people with their mental health and building person centred relationships.
- Brings strong leadership, communication and partnership working skills.
