Bradford District and Craven Mind – community wellbeing worker (know your mind)

Bradford District and Craven Mind are looking for a community wellbeing worker to support young people's mental wellbeing. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Provide one to one, child led mental health support to children and young people across schools, communities and other settings.
  • Create safe, welcoming and non judgemental spaces where young people feel listened to and supported.
  • Work closely with families, professionals and partners to promote positive mental wellbeing and informed choice.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children and young people with social, emotional or mental health needs.
  • Brings empathy, lived experience and a person centred, inclusive approach to their work.
  • Understands safeguarding, risk management and the importance of equity, diversity and inclusion.
