Mental Health at Work gateway

Mental Health at Work is a new online gateway to tools, guidance and training that will help change the way we approach workplace mental health across the UK.

This new online platform will provide the resources, training and information people need to make their life better at work for themselves, their colleagues and their staff.

Last year the Government commissioned Stevenson/Farmer - Thriving at Work’ report revealed that over 300,000 people with long-term mental health problems lose their jobs each year.

In addition to this, a Mind survey of employers showed that while employers want  to make changes to improve the lives of their employees, it is often hard to know where to look for information or guidance.

Shaped by the Heads Together campaign, the Mental Health At Work gateway is funded by The Royal Foundation and produced by Mind.

Developed in partnership

Mind worked in collaboration with 11 key programme partners from the world of business, industry and mental health to develop the gateway so whether you are just starting to look at how you can support your staff, or looking to make a bigger commitment to the  wellbeing at your place of work there is something for you.

Mental Health at Work is a UK wide initiative, supporting people across all workplaces, all sectors, all backgrounds and all regions. This is only the beginning and we are looking to grow from here. We have over 100 resources on Mental Health at Work now, but hope that over time we can keep growing

Who's it for?

The Mental Health at Work gateway is primarily aimed at employers, senior management and line managers, however it is accessible to anybody, and employees are likely to find something that could help them to support a colleague, challenge stigma, or learn more about mental health in the workplace.

Whether you are hoping to find information about what mental health is and how it might affect you and your colleagues, or whether you are looking to influence a shift in policy or organisational approach, you will be able to access a guided search tool, curated toolkits, blogs and case studies that will help you on your journey to improving your workplace, for the benefit of everybody.
