Her interview with Prince Harry for her Telegraph Mad World podcast had global influence. One of our judges described the interview as "changing the culture that we live in".

Closer to home, we saw a 38 per cent increase in calls to the Mind Infoline after the podcast went out. It illustrates the power of the media in prompting help seeking.

Bryony's bestselling book Mad World showcases her wit and warmth and has been incredibly important in raising awareness of obsessive compulsive disorder, depression and bulimia.

Bryony doesn't just write extensively about mental health, she is also taking strides to bring people together. Her Mental Health Mates community is a regular meet-up for people with mental health issues, where they can walk and talk without fear of judgement. And, to top it off, she even ran this year's Virgin Money London marathon as a Heads Together ambassador.
