West Sussex Mind - youth mental health worker
West Sussex Mind are looking for a youth mental health worker to join their young people's service, BeOk.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Support young people on their recovery journey by providing a range of support opportunities tailored to their needs.
- Deliver recovery-focused one-to-one support sessions, group activities and learning opportunities for young people
- Line manage a peer support worker and/or volunteers, supporting them to develop their skills and contribute to the service.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of young people’s mental health, gained through training, professional experience, or both.
- Is confident at working independently, building supportive relationships, and is a strong team player.,
- Is enthusiastic about recovery-focused mental health support.
