West Sussex Mind - resettled refugee mental health support worker
West Sussex Mind are looking for a resettled refugee mental health support worker to help support people who are navigating displacement and resettlement.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Provide goal-focused mental health support in one-to-one and group settings. This can be in person, over the phone, or online.
- Work alongside our wider Pathfinder teams to link those you support into the Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams.
- Work with partners and professionals, including signposting service users to other organisations.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting mental health and wellbeing.
- Understands the complex challenges refugees may face and the impact of trauma, displacement, and resettlement.
- Can build trust with people, and can work confidently both independently and as part of a wider team.
