West Sussex Mind - peer youth mental health worker

West Sussex Mind are looking for a peer youth mental health worker to join their young people's service, BeOk.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Support young people through a range of activities and opportunities designed to improve wellbeing and build confidence.
  • Contribute to and lead face-to-face and online social, creative and leisure activities for young people.
  • Work closely with Youth Mental Health Workers and volunteers to ensure young people receive the best possible support.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has an understanding of young people’s mental health, gained through lived experience, training, or professional work.
  • Is creative, flexible, and confident at engaging young people in different types of activities.
  • Is a strong team player who works well with colleagues and volunteers.
