TOGS Mind – Children, Young People and Families Counsellor

Tameside, Oldham, Glossop and Stockport Mind seek a CYPF Counsellor to support children and young people with community-based counselling.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Deliver person-centred counselling and emotional wellbeing support to children and young people
• Manage referrals, waiting lists and accurate client records using PCMIS
• Work collaboratively with partners and respond appropriately to safeguarding and risk concerns

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children and young people within counselling or mental health services
• Can assess and manage safeguarding risks using professional judgement
• Has strong communication, organisation and collaboration skills
