Tameside, Oldham, Glossop and Stockport Mind are looking for a children and young people's counsellor to support everyone in their communities to achieve better mental health.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Strengthen relationships with Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise organisations.
- Support and guide Mental Health Leads within education settings.
- Work with a trauma informed, person centred approach, ensuring the child or young person’s needs are always at the centre of decision making.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Is passionate and driven to support children, young people and their families with their mental health and wellbeing.
- Holds a minimum level 4 diploma in Person Centred Counselling.
- Has experience managing a caseload of children and young people and be able to adapt your approach to meet the needs of young people when needed.
