Oxfordshire Mind – locum run leader

Oxfordshire Mind are looking for a run leader to support mental wellbeing through inclusive running sessions. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Lead safe, supportive running sessions that help people build confidence and improve their wellbeing. 
• Encourage and motivate participants to overcome barriers to being active and achieve personal goals. 
• Create a welcoming, inclusive space where people feel supported to enjoy physical activity. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting people with mental health or wellbeing needs, individually or in groups.
• brings strong listening skills, empathy and the ability to motivate and encourage others.
• Understands safeguarding and can help create a safe environment for people of all abilities.
