Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest – black mental health coach

Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest are looking for a mental health coach to support diverse communities.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Run group and self-help sessions using evidence-based mental health practices.
• Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, developing care plans and providing regular check-ins.
• Carry out screenings and assessments to identify individual support needs.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 2 or higher qualification in Health, Social Care, or a related field (e.g. Counselling, OT, Social Work, Nursing).
• Has experience working in a multidisciplinary team and supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with Black, African, and Caribbean communities.
