Mind in Brighton and Hove – community mental health advocate
Support people to understand their rights and access services as a community advocate in West Sussex.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Provide independent advocacy support to people with mental health issues, helping them understand their rights and have their voices heard.
- Manage a caseload, attending meetings and working with services to support positive outcomes for clients.
- Build strong relationships with professionals and organisations while maintaining accurate case records.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with people using mental health services or similar client-focused roles.
- Understands advocacy principles and mental health systems, or is willing to gain a recognised advocacy qualification.
- Has excellent communication skills and can build professional relationships while remaining independent.
