Bradford District and Craven Mind - guide line support worker
Bradford District and Craven Mind seek a support worker to provide mental health help via helpline and live chat.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Provide emotional support via phone and live chat, creating a safe and non judgemental space for people to talk.
- Signpost and refer individuals to appropriate services, including crisis support when needed.
- Maintain accurate records and respond sensitively to safeguarding concerns and incidents.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting people with mental health challenges.
- Brings excellent communication skills, with empathy and the ability to listen without judgement.
- Understands safeguarding, confidentiality and how to respond appropriately to risk.
