Bradford District and Craven Mind - guide line support worker 

Bradford District and Craven Mind seek a support worker to provide mental health help via helpline and live chat. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

  • Provide emotional support via phone and live chat, creating a safe and non judgemental space for people to talk. 
  • Signpost and refer individuals to appropriate services, including crisis support when needed. 
  • Maintain accurate records and respond sensitively to safeguarding concerns and incidents. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting people with mental health challenges. 
  • Brings excellent communication skills, with empathy and the ability to listen without judgement. 
  • Understands safeguarding, confidentiality and how to respond appropriately to risk.
