Bradford District and Craven Mind - crisis support worker 

Bradford District and Craven Mind are looking for a crisis support worker to support people in distress at their hub. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Provide one to one support to people in mental health crisis, helping them feel safe, heard and supported. 
• Use de-escalation techniques and risk awareness to support people through periods of distress.
• Work with colleagues and partners to manage referrals and connect people to ongoing support. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting people with mental health needs in a health, social care or community setting.
• Brings strong communication skills, empathy and a non-judgemental approach.
• Can respond confidently to challenging situations, including safeguarding and risk.
