Our high-profile supporters have demonstrated a commitment to Mind’s work by using their influence, dedication and hard work to support us.
Austyn
“There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. I want to help other people see that too.”
Austyn is a professional dancer and content creator, with over 800k followers and a passion for bringing joy to others via his quick-witted take on pop culture moments.
Alongside spreading positivity, Austyn uses his platform to raise awareness about mental health. He has opened up about his own experiences with body image and anxiety, crediting exercise and sobriety as key parts of his journey toward better mental wellbeing.
Having tragically lost friends to suicide, Austyn is deeply committed to using his influence for good. By supporting Mind, he hopes to ensure no one has to feel alone in their experiences. As the charity’s first high-profile supporter, Austyn ran the London Marathon raising over £10,000 for mental health problems, supported Mental Health Awareness Week and hosted a Youth Power Hour event with partners Urban Outfitters.
Jimmy Broadbent
Jimmy Broadbent is a YouTuber, commentator and racing driver, with over 1 million YouTube subscribers and a growing presence across the sim racing and motorsport worlds.
Jimmy has supported Mind since 2019 through his annual Race for Mental Health, a livestreamed sim racing marathon that brings fans and creators together to fundraise and open up conversations around mental health. Inspired by the memory of his father, Jimmy uses the event to share his own experiences and encourage openness within the racing community.
Jimmy has raised over £360,000 for Mind, including a record-breaking £95,000 in a single event in 2024. His impact is widely recognised: he was a finalist in the JustGiving Awards 2024 for Social for Good, and his event has become a staple in the sim-racing calendar.
Jordan Stephens
Jordan Stephens is a musician and author.
He first became famous as one half of the chart-topping duo Rizzle Kicks, before expanding into acting, podcasting, filmmaking and writing. His published works include the Sunday Times bestseller Avoidance, Drugs, Heartbreak and Dogs, a powerful exploration of self-acceptance and mental health, and The Missing Piece, a children’s book celebrating joy and human connection.
Jordan uses his platform to challenge stigma, particularly around young men’s mental health, and has spoken candidly about his lived experience of mental health problems. His own campaign, #IAMWHOLE, sparked widespread dialogue among young people, reached over 120 million users online and was referenced in the Houses of Parliament.
As a high-profile supporter of Mind, Jordan has interviewed the cast and writer of Steve, a Netflix film exploring mental health, for Mind’s YouTube channel. He also took part in Behind the Song, Mind’s music series, alongside bandmate Harley Alexander-Sule, and contributed to Mind’s social media activity for Mental Health Awareness Week 2025.
