Cinema group ODEON have gone to great lengths for Mind, raising over £200,000 in 2016/17. Through a combination of company initiatives and staff led fundraising, ODEON went above and beyond to get the partnership off to a flying start. They have also pledged to outdo themselves in the second year of the partnership by raising £230,000.
Employees have come up with a whole host of fundraising ideas, including poster sales, silver screen raffles all the way to Beauty and the Beast princess days. Their creativity knows no limits and has been at the heart of the partnership.
In the week of World Mental Health Day, they included a 25p donation to Mind for every box of popcorn, selling 140,000 boxes across the UK. ODEON also sponsored the Film category in our 2016 Mind Media Awards and the 2017 awards were hosted in their iconic Leicester Square cinema.
