Mind announces partnership with The Happiful Foundation and the Counselling Directory
Mind is happy to announce our new partnership with The Happiful Foundation, a new initiative from Happiful and the Counselling Directory, which has made a generous £100,000 commitment to support Mind’s local Mind network across England and Wales. Mind and The Happiful Foundation are committed to connecting with communities and making a positive impact for people’s mental health.
They'll be funding local Minds, who are currently offering counselling services, to increase capacity and accessibility. The focus of the additional capacity will be early intervention / preventative counselling and will reach target audiences including but not limited to:
- Children and young people
- People from racialised communities
- People experiencing poverty.
Head of Corporate Partnerships, Sarah Sheridan says:
“We’re delighted to be partnering with The Happiful Foundation and the Counselling Directory, who are supporting Mind’s mission in not giving up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support they need, deserve and expect.”
