There are several members of Mind's staff who are available to comment on a range of current mental health issues.
Paul Farmer is Mind's top level spokesperson and is regularly interviewed for both print and broadcast media. As comfortable on the Today Programme as on the GMTV sofa, Paul's extensive knowledge of mental health policy and the issues that face people with mental distress are informed by 20 years of work in the field. Paul has been at Mind since 2006, following posts at mental health charity Rethink and the Samaritans.
Sophie Corlett is Mind's second in command and is a regular spokesperson on mental health policy and campaigning issues. As well as overseeing Mind's external relations, Sophie looks after Mind's forward-thinking work on what mental health services should look like in the future, and Mind's involvement in multi-million pound anti-stigma campaign Time to Change.
Vicki Nash is a seasoned campaigner and leads Mind's work on policy, lobbying and developing campaigns that reflect the needs of people with mental distress. Vicki can be called upon for comment on a wide range of current issues policy issues, from welfare reform and social care to disability hate crime. Vicki Joined us in 2008 from Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Stephen Buckley manages Mind's Infoline and is Mind's expert spokesperson on mental health problems and their treatments. Whether for a radio phone-in or a glossy magazine, Stephen can be called on to shed light on mental health problems and discuss the wider issues.
