Mind and Surrey County Cricket Club are currently running a free prize draw to win 2 x hospitality tickets to watch England vs Sri Lanka Men’s ODI on Sunday 27th September 2026 .

This prize draw is part of a Day for Thorpey, an ongoing partnership between Mind, Surrey County Cricket Club and the Thorpe family, which celebrates the life and legacy of Graham Thorpe MBE, the late England and Surrey cricketer. 

The prize draw is open from Tuesday 2nd June 2026 and closes on Tuesday 30th June 2026 23:59 GMT. Please see the full terms and conditions below. 

 

Terms and Conditions:

1.    The promoter of this free prize draw is Mind (the National Association for Mental Health) incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 424348 and registered as a Charity with number 219830 whose registered office is at 2 Redman Place, London, E20 1JQ (the Charity).  

2.    This prize is organised as part of a Day for Thorpey, an ongoing partnership between Mind, Surrey County Cricket Club and the Thorpe family, which celebrates the life and legacy of Graham Thorpe MBE, the late England and Surrey cricketer. Proceeds from this prize draw will raise money for mental health charity Mind and support Thorpey’s Bat and Chat, a project across England and Wales, in partnership with county cricket foundations and the charity’s network of local Minds. 

3.    This prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Charity, Surrey County Cricket Club, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the prize draw.

4.    This prize draw is free to enter, there is no obligation to make a donation to be eligible for entry.   

5.    To enter this free prize draw, entrants must either make a donation for entries at https://crowdfunder.co.uk/p/thorpey or enter for free via post, by writing to us at Day for Thorpey Prize Draw, Mind, 2 Redman Place, London E20 1JQ (you are responsible for paying sufficient postage on your entry), and include your full name, mobile number, email address, postal address and date of birth. 

6.    Postal entries have an equal chance of winning as online entries.

7.    Personal data will be used in accordance with these terms and conditions and our privacy policy. For more details on how the Charity uses and looks after personal information, read our privacy policy at: https://www.mind.org.uk/legal-info/privacy-policy/. The data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will not be shared with third parties without the entrant's consent.

8.    Entries that do not comply with these promotion rules will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

9.    The opening date for entries is 2nd June 2026. The closing date for this free prize draw is Tuesday 30th June 2026 23:59 GMT. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

10.    The prize is 2 tickets to watch the England Men vs Sri Lanka Men One Day International Cricket Match in The Roof Terrace hospitality suite at the Kia Oval on Sunday 27th September 2026. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.


11.    The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries using a computer process that produces a verifiably random result from those entries.

12.    The draw will take place on Tuesday 7th July 2026 and the winner will be notified via email and/or phone within 7 days of the draw taking place. 

13.    If a winner has not responded to accept their prize by Tuesday 14th July 2026, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Charity will be entitled to re-draw the winner. In these circumstances, the new winner will be notified, and the prize must be accepted in accordance with the process set out above. 

14.    Winners will be announced publicly via the Crowdfunder project page within 14 days of the close date. Further details about publicity are below.

15.    The Charity reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Charity’s control make it necessary to do so.

16.    The decision of the Charity regarding any aspect of the free prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

17.    Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Charity reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

18.    The Charity reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

19.    Insofar as is permitted by law, the Charity, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Charity, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

20.    Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third-party suppliers for the purposes of donation collection and fulfilment/ delivery/ arrangement of the prize.

21.    You acknowledge and understand that you may be asked to participate in publicity if you are selected as a winner by Mind and Surrey Cricket Club. 

22.    The free prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the free prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

23.    The promoter reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
