How we'll support you
Whether you're a first-time runner or a seasoned-pro, we will be with you every step of the way. We offer all our runners a fantastic support package.
You can expect:
- Lots of training and fundraising advice
- Regular e-newsletters
- Training days to meet experts and the team
- A vest with iron-on letters
- Enthusiastic cheering teams along the marathon route
- A post-race reception with massages and refreshments
- A dedicated and experienced fundraising officer to give support and advice
I'd never done an event like this before and thought doing it for a charity would be just me raising money on my own. I couldn't be more wrong. The community I became a part was completely unexpected but was one of the best parts of my marathon journey. The support and encouragement really helped to motivate and push me through the tough parts of the training and seeing all the Mind runners and supporters on the day really made you feel part of something special.

Where does the money go?
£1270 could help us run our online peer support community, Side by Side for a whole day.
£3870 could help fund a full day of our helpline advisors picking up the phones on all 4 of our helplines.
£5280 could help us keep our online community open for 1 week.

The registration fee for the TCS London Marathon is £100 and we ask all our charity place fundraisers to raise a minimum of £2,500.
To get a Mind place in the 2027 TSC London Marathon, fill out our application form and we'll be in touch if we can offer you a place.
Congratulations on securing a place in the ballot – we would love to have you on the team! Please select 'I have a place' above.
Please only fill out this form if you have a ballot place with London Marathon Events.
As an own place runner, you won’t have a fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much as you can to help anyone affected by mental health problems.
We will review each application anonymously before making a decision. To improve your chances, please give us as much information as possible as to why you want to support Mind and how you plan on raising £2,500.
You will have a 50% (£1,250) fundraising deadline of 26 February (2 months before the event). We then ask that the full £2,500 is with us by 26 May (1 month after the event).
We set the minimum fundraising target at £2,500 to make sure we’re able to cover the costs that we’ve paid for the place as well as put enough back into our vital services to support people living with a mental health problem.
You don't need to raise the full amount until 1 month after event day. We know a lot of donations come in on the week of and after the event. So there is still plenty of time to plan your fundraising and collect donations.
We will be in touch throughout your journey to give fundraising tips and ideas.
Please make sure you're confident you can raise the £2,500 before you apply.
Once your registration is confirmed, we will send you a running vest and welcome postcard in the post. This can take between 10-15 working days.
You will need to collect your race pack from the Running Show, which usually runs from the Wednesday to Saturday before the event. Make sure you allow time to collect the pack during your race day planning.
We will have cheer points along the route and a post-race reception, minutes from the finish line.
