York Mind seek a counselling manager to lead adult counselling services and support service growth.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Lead and develop York Mind's adult counselling service, ensuring it remains high quality, sustainable and responsive to community needs.
- Manage and support counsellors, volunteers and staff, fostering a positive, inclusive and effective service culture.
- Work with colleagues and partners to strengthen service delivery, safeguard clients and support future growth.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Is accredited with BACP or UKCP and has significant experience delivering counselling services.
- Has experience managing staff, volunteers and frontline services, including safeguarding and risk management.
- Brings strong leadership, organisational and partnership working skills, with a commitment to inclusive, person centred support.
