Solent Mind - peer support worker - financial resilience 

Solent Mind seek a peer worker to support people facing mental health challenges and financial hardship.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Provide peer support to people experiencing mental health problems linked to financial hardship and life pressures. 
• Deliver one to one support and help run a welcoming wellbeing drop in service. 
• Support people to access advice, community services and practical help to improve their wellbeing and resilience. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has lived experience of mental health problems and understands the principles of peer support. 
• Understands the links between mental health, financial hardship, housing and employment and wellbeing.
• Brings strong communication skills, empathy and the ability to build supportive relationships.
