North Kent Mind – head of finance

North Kent Mind seek a head of finance to lead financial strategy, governance and organisational growth. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Lead North Kent Mind's finances, providing strategic advice, financial oversight and reporting to support effective decision making. 
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, governance and compliance, ensuring resources are managed responsibly and in line with organisational priorities. 
• Support and develop the finance team, driving continuous improvement across financial systems, processes and controls. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent experience) with significant finance leadership experience. 
• Has strong knowledge of charity finances, financial reporting, governance, audit and risk management. 
• Can build positive relationships with senior leaders, trustees and colleagues, communicating complex financial information clearly and confidently.
