Mind in Brighton and Hove - Trustee

Mind in Brighton and Hove seeks Trustees to guide strategy, strengthen governance and champion mental health across Sussex.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Help shape Mind in Brighton and Hove’s strategy, ensuring the charity is effectively governed and its mission, values and objectives are upheld

• Oversee financial accountability, legal compliance, risk management and the effective use of organisational resources

• Contribute to Board and subcommittee meetings, support leadership and promote positive awareness of mental health

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Can think strategically, exercise independent judgement and make decisions in the charity’s best interests

• Has strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to reflective practice and collaborative governance

• Is committed to mental health and the charity’s values, with lived experience of mental health issues or previous charity or committee experience welcomed
