Mid and North Powys Mind – blended CBT practitioner
Mid and North Powys Mind seek a CBT practitioner to support people using online mental health programmes.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Give one to one support to people using online CBT programme, helping them build skills to manage their mental health and wellbeing.
- Manage a caseload and work with people to identify goals, develop coping strategies and make positive changes using CBT based approaches.
- Work closely with health professionals and community services to ensure people receive joined up support tailored to their needs.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a Level 3 qualification in Counselling, CBT or an equivalent field, with experience supporting people with mental health or wellbeing needs.
- Understand Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles and can apply person centred approaches to support positive outcomes.
- Brings strong communication, organisational and IT skills, with an understanding of confidentiality, risk and safeguarding.
