Mid and North East Essex Mind – mental health hospital link worker

Mid and North East Essex Mind seek a hospital link worker to support people in mental health crisis. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Provide immediate, person centred support to people experiencing emotional distress in a hospital setting.
• Work alongside clinical teams to help escalate crisis situations and ensure people feel heard and supported.
• Connect people with appropriate mental health, community and wellbeing services to support their ongoing recovery. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has at least two years experience supporting people with mental health or wellbeing needs. 
• Is a confident communicator who can build trust and remain calm in a fast paced environment.
• Understands safeguarding, professional boundaries and the importance of collaborative working.
