Leeds Mind – suicide bereavement practitioner
Leeds Mind seek a peer support recovery worker to support people with complex mental health needs.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Use your lived experience to provide peer support to people experiencing complex mental health problems.
- Help people build confidence, develop coping strategies and work towards their recovery goals.
- Work alongside clinical teams and care coordinators to deliver person centred, recovery focused support.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has lived experience of mental health difficulties and can use this safely and appropriately to support others.
- Has experience supporting people with complex mental health needs and an understanding of recovery approaches.
- Can build positive, trusting relationships and is committed to person centred, values led practice.
