Leeds Mind - employment support coach

Become an Employment Support Coach at Leeds Mind, helping people with severe mental health challenges find and sustain meaningful work.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Support around 20 clients experiencing severe mental health challenges to find, prepare for and sustain meaningful employment

• Provide personalised coaching on CVs, job applications, interviews and workplace adjustments, helping clients overcome barriers to work

• Build relationships with local employers, create job opportunities and collaborate with clinical teams to support clients’ employment journeys

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong organisational skills and can manage a caseload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

• Demonstrates empathy, a non-judgemental approach and excellent communication skills when working with clients, employers and clinical teams

• Is proactive in engaging employers, confident using IT and digital systems, aware of safeguarding and willing to complete IPS Employment Specialist training
