Leeds Mind - employment support coach

Join Leeds Mind as an Employment Support Coach to help people with mental health challenges find and sustain meaningful work.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Support a caseload of around 20 clients experiencing mental health challenges to find and sustain meaningful employment

• Provide one-to-one coaching on CVs, applications, interviews and action plans to help clients overcome barriers to work

• Build relationships with local employers, create job opportunities and work with clinical teams to support clients and challenge mental health stigma

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong organisational skills and can manage a caseload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

• Demonstrates empathy, a non-judgemental approach and excellent communication skills when working with clients, employers and clinical teams

• Is proactive in networking with employers, confident using IT and digital systems, and willing to complete IPS Employment Specialist training
