Islington Mind – mental health recovery team leader

Islington Mind seek a team leader to manage community mental health and recovery support services. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Lead and support a team of staff and mental health support within a community day centre. 
• Manage open access and drop in services, ensuring safeguarding, risk management, health and safety, and service quality standards are maintained. 
• Develop therapeutic activities and partnerships that help people improve their wellbeing, build connections and access the support they need. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has substantial experience managing staff, volunteers and community based mental health services. 
• Has experience supporting people with mental health needs in groups, one to one and open access settings. 
• Brings strong assessment, crisis management and partnership working skills, with a commitment to recovery focused and trauma informed practice.
