York Mind - peer support and social prescribing team

York Mind seek a team leader to lead peer support and social prescribing services across wellbeing hubs.

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Lead and support Peer Support Workers and Social Prescribers to deliver high quality support across community wellbeing hubs. 
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate services and help shape neighbourhood mental health support. 
• Support people with mental health needs through direct client work, while ensuring services run effectively and safely.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience managing staff in a frontline mental health, health or community setting. 
• Understands peer support and social prescribing, and how they help people achieve recovery and wellbeing goals.
• Brings strong leadership, safeguarding and partnership working skills, with the ability to manage risk and competing priorities.
