West Sussex Mind seek trainee children's wellbeing practitioner to support young people's mental health.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Support children and young people with their mental health and wellbeing while training towards a nationally recognised qualification.
- Learn to deliver evidence based interventions and guided self help, helping young people develop coping strategies and resilience.
- Combine academic study with hands on experience, working alongside experienced practitioners to make positive difference in young people's lives.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about children and young people's mental health and wants to build a career in the sector.
- Has a degree (2:2 or above) and some experience supporting children and young people, or transferable experience from another field.
- Is motivated to learn, develop professionally and complete or graduate diploma alongside the role.
