Tyneside and Northumberland Mind – call handler 

Tyneside and Northumberland Mind are looking for a triage lead to coordinate CYP referrals and access to mental health support. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Lead the triage process, ensuring referrals are assessed safely, consistently and in a timer manner.
• Support children, young people and families to access the most appropriate services and pathways based on their needs.
• Work closely with partners and colleagues to manage risk, safeguarding concerns and service quality. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in children and young people's mental health, wellbeing or related services.
• Can asses needs, risk and complexity, making sound decisions and coordinating appropriate support.
• Brings excellent communication, organisational relationship building skills, with a trauma- informed and person centres approach.
