Oxfordshire Mind – safety and wellbeing worker
Oxfordshire Mind seeks a safety and wellbeing worker to support people following self-harm or suicidal thoughts.
What you'll do
In this role you'll:
- Offer one-to-one support to people following self-harm or suicidal thoughts, helping them develop personalised safety plans
- Signpost people to appropriate services and work with NHS and community partners to support recovery
- Monitor wellbeing, manage risk and maintain accurate records to ensure safe, effective support
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in mental health, wellbeing or similar support services
- Has knowledge of safety planning, risk management and supporting people following self-harm or suicidal ideation
- Has excellent listening and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, person-centred approach
