Oxfordshire Mind – locum wellbeing worker: safe haven

Oxfordshire Mind seek a crisis support worker to provide mental health within safe haven services. 

What you'll do

In this role you'll:

• Provide person centred support adults experiencing mental health crisis helping them feel safe, heard and supported. 
• Carry out risk assessments and deliver one to one and group interventions that promote wellbeing and coping skills. 
• Work closely with colleagues and partner services to ensure people can access the right support when they need it. 

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting people with mental health or wellbeing needs in a challenging environment. 
• Understands safeguarding, risk management and recovery focused approaches. 
• Brings strong communication, listening and organisational skills, with a flexible and collaborative approach.
